US30 TOPS — trading robot
An automated strategy for the Dow Jones index (US30), written for MetaTrader 5. It is the system we built for our own accounts, and it is available to license.
What it does
It watches a single instrument and takes a small number of well-defined setups, each with its stop and target decided before entry. There is no grid, no martingale, no averaging into losers — every position is opened once, with a fixed risk, and closed by rule.
The strategy runs as five independent “arms”, each looking for a different situation. They trade on the same instrument but not at the same moment, which is what keeps the equity curve steadier than any single one of them.
What you need to run it
- MetaTrader 5 with an account that offers the US30 index.
- A machine that stays on — a VPS is the normal choice, since the robot must be running to manage its positions.
- A licence key, which ties the robot to your trading account number.
Honest limits
It trades one instrument, so it is not a diversified portfolio. It can go weeks without a signal. Its record below is a backtest, not years of live trading — we say that plainly on the performance page rather than hiding it in a footnote. And like every strategy, it will have losing months.
